Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist. This is based on-site at Laura Fergusson Trust in Lower Hutt and in the community (greater Wellington region). This role will work with clients with brain injury or other complex disabilities/injuries.
Te āhuatunga a te tūrunga (About the role)
This role involves a variety of clinical work (assessment, intervention, innovation, equipment, and education) for injury-related rehabilitation to restore clients’ independence & ability to participate in their everyday life:
- Supporting clients to adjust to changes & challenges in their lives
- Monitoring and reporting client progress
- Assisting clinical aspects within our residential service include assessing and treating clients to achieve independence and wellbeing
- Collaborating with other Allied Health staff through our interdisciplinary team
Ko wai koe (About you)
You need to have:
- 2 years' experience as an OT
- Full New Zealand driver’s licence, or legally licensed and able to drive in New Zealand.
- Must be a New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or the holder of a valid work visa
